Vegan · High Protein · Sugar Free · No Bake Options
Mango season is here — and I refuse to let it pass with just a smoothie bowl.
Over the past few months I've been quietly obsessed with finding every possible way to work mango into recipes that are plant-based, protein-packed, and genuinely delicious. Savoury, sweet, baked, no-bake — mango does it all. And this list is proof.
Whether you're working through a box of Alphonso mangoes or have a stash of frozen mango in your freezer, here are eight recipes worth making this season.

Five minutes, one pan, and the most unexpectedly delicious savoury mango dish you'll ever make. Silken tofu coated in a glossy mango nut butter and hot sauce glaze — sweet, spicy, and completely plant-based. The recipe that proves mango belongs in savoury cooking just as much as it does in dessert.

Soft, fluffy, and completely sugar free — made with an oat flour base and mango pulp as the liquid. These are beginner-friendly, gluten free, and the kind of cupcakes that make people ask if they're really healthy. They are. Pair them with the Sweet Potato Mango Frosting below for the full experience.

Made entirely from sweet potatoes, mango puree, and plant protein powder — this frosting has about 10g of protein per serving and tastes like something from a bakery. Nobody at the table will guess what's in it until you tell them. Silky, sweet, and the detail that makes the cupcakes unforgettable.

A baked protein dessert with a mango plant protein base, topped with yogurt and fresh mango cubes. Around 20g of protein per serving, completely vegan, and genuinely one of the most satisfying things to come out of my kitchen. Tropical, creamy, and proof that hitting your macros can taste this good.

No eggs, no dairy, no compromise. Mango and coconut cream come together in soft, chilled layers that are light enough for summer and indulgent enough for any season. The kind of dessert I make when I want something that feels special without spending the whole day in the kitchen.

Made for World Health Day and an elevated version of my Barley Banana Bread. Barley flour — an ancient grain with more protein and fibre than regular flour — paired with mango puree and a zero-calorie sweetener. Soft, naturally sweet, and finished with a mango nut butter drizzle that makes every slice feel like a little celebration.
7. Mango Milk

A creamy, naturally sweetened plant-based mango milk that's as good to drink on its own as it is to cook with.
